Cisco/Tandberg H.323 Bridging End of Service July 1, 2019

OneNet has traditionally provided H.323 video conferencing services for our customers. However, our bridging equipment has reached its end of life. We have applied for grants to replace this equipment, but have not received an award to fund a new purchase. As a result, we are phasing out these legacy services by July 1, 2019.

We are encouraging our customers to transition to Zoom video conferencing. Most legacy systems can connect through Zoom. In addition, OneNet and Zoom have partnered to offer a statewide purchasing program. This new arrangement offers significant cost savings on video conferencing services for OneNet customers through a newly negotiated contract. OneNet can provide a quote on these services. We understand that much of your LifeSize gear may not work with Zoom. Our systems team is also available to help you transition to another video conferencing service of your choice.

OneNet will continue to provide basic H.323 gatekeeper registration services as well as continued troubleshooting assistance for videoconferencing across the OneNet network.
