Oklahoma City Datacenter UPS Testing

In response to the recent issues with UPS power systems at OneNet’s Oklahoma City datacenter, non-service impacting tests will begin at 3pm, Tuesday, July 30th 2013. A variety of tests will continue throughout the afternoon and evening. If the UPS systems pass all tests, the datacenter will shift to generator at approximately 10pm and a remaining series of tests will take place reviewing the entire system. Although no loss of service is expected, there is a possibility — primarily when shifting from commercial power to the generator — of a service-impacting event. OneNet’s concerns regarding the OKC datacenter’s power system stability has necessitated this immediate testing.
