Among these dedicated team members, Tameka Williams stands out as a key player in OneNet’s success, ensuring financial processes remain accurate, organized, and dependable.

A Behind-the-Scenes Specialist

As the accounts receivable specialist, Tameka works behind the scenes to manage incoming payments, reconcile accounts, maintain records, and support the organization’s overall billing and receivables processes.

In her day-to-day role, she handles a variety of responsibilities that require both precision and consistency. From reviewing account activity and monitoring outstanding balances to assisting with billing-related questions, her work helps keep processes flowing smoothly across teams. She also focuses on maintaining systems that are clear, reliable, and easy to follow, helping support long-term continuity within the department.

Learning and Growth

Since joining OneNet, one of the most rewarding aspects of her experience has been learning how different systems and processes connect behind the scenes.

“I’ve really enjoyed learning the systems and understanding how everything connects behind the scenes,” Tameka said. “Being part of a process that requires both accuracy and consistency is something I value.”

Attention to detail and organization are among the most important qualities for succeeding in her position. She believes strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, especially when working through discrepancies or coordinating with team members.

Staying focused and disciplined is another key part of the job, particularly during high-volume periods when balancing efficiency with accuracy becomes even more important.

She was drawn to OneNet for its impact across Oklahoma and the opportunity to be part of a team that prioritizes reliability and structure.

“I was drawn to OneNet because of the opportunity to contribute to an organization that plays an important role in supporting services across the state,” Tameka said.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Tameka enjoys focusing on personal growth and self-development. Whether it’s learning new skills, exploring new interests, or simply taking time to recharge, for her, it’s about maintaining balance so she can return focused each week and ready to contribute.

Although Tameka is still relatively new to OneNet, she has already made herself an important part of the organization through her consistency, kindness, and willingness to step in wherever she is needed.

Colleagues know they can count on her because she is always ready to help, no questions asked, and is often one of the first to volunteer when extra support is needed for projects, office clean-ups, or special events.
