Purchasing Specialist
OneNet’s purchasing specialist is responsible for administering purchasing functions for OneNet. This specialist will coordinate purchase requests with staff, liaise with internal project teams, and maintain strong supplier relations. State purchasing knowledge and experience in a purchasing position are desired.
Pay rate: $37,600 annually, plus benefits
Optical Network Support Engineer
OneNet’s optical network support engineer installs and maintains fiber optic cable and optically delivered circuits that provide connectivity for OneNet subscribers, including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, 1-400 Gigabit Ethernet, and wave services on dense wavelength division multiplexing equipment. Knowledge of telecommunications, Wide Area and Local Area Networks (WAN, LAN), computer operating systems and installation and repair techniques for networking and telecommunications equipment and associated devices is desired.
Pay rate: $63,280 annually, plus benefits
Network Engineer
OneNet’s network engineers design and analyze OneNet’s network infrastructure. They ensure high levels of performance and provide support for subscriber circuits across the state. The capability to plan, design and install a variety of network infrastructures is required to be successful in the network engineer positions.
Pay rate: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, plus benefits
Network Support Engineer
OneNet’s network support engineer provides customer service and technical support to subscribers across the state. They also play a vital role in configuring and turning up new circuit connections and actively support a variety of technical services for OneNet subscribers. Experience with a variety of network equipment and software is key to this position.
Pay rate: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, plus benefits
Graphic Design Intern
Graphic design internship for Junior or Senior level students enrolled in institutions of higher education and working toward completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree with a declared major in graphic design, public relations, digital marketing, strategic communications, or other related field. Intern will utilize Adobe Creative Suite to design digital and/or print graphics for social media, websites and publications.
Pay rate: $16 per hour
Strategic Communications Intern
Strategic communications internship for Junior or Senior level students enrolled in institutions of higher education and working toward completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree with a declared major in public relations, marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or other related field. Intern will research and write feature stories, case studies, employee spotlights and customer spotlights for OneNet’s website and social media profiles.
Pay rate: $16 per hour
