2021 Happy Holidays from OneNet!
Dear Loyal OneNet Friend,
OneNet wants to wish all of our friends “Happy Holidays!” and thank you for your continued support of our mission to advance technology across Oklahoma.
During 2021, we celebrated our 25th anniversary. We are proud to have served Oklahoma communities, large and small, for 25 years now. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure access to quality research, education, health care and public services.
This year, we focused on expanding the OneOklahoma Friction Free Network—a dedicated research network that provides high-speed data transfer and supercomputing resources to higher education faculty and students. OneNet received two National Science Foundation grants to add campuses to the network. Once we implement these two grants, 17 campuses will be connected to the OFFN network, with access to big data movement capabilities and opportunities for collaboration with scientists around the globe.
As 2021 comes to an end, along with nearly two years of a pandemic, we want to recognize what each of you are accomplishing in your communities. Thank you for doing an incredible job serving Oklahoma citizens despite the challenges created by COVID19.
Remember, OneNet is available to provide support throughout the pandemic and in the year to come.
On behalf of the OneNet team, we wish you a happy holiday season and health and success in the new year.
