2025 No-Cost Virtual Field Trips for Oklahoma Schools

Lincoln Memorial - Text reads "The Presidential Primary Source Project, January - April, 2025, A Free, Interactive Classroom Videoconferencing Program for Grades 4-12"Teachers at Oklahoma K-12 schools can offer their students the opportunity to participate in virtual field trips. Internet2’s Community Anchor Program (CAP) has announced the 2025 Presidential Primary Sources Project.

Presidential Primary Sources Project

PPSP allows students and educators to hear directly from National Park Service rangers and Presidential Historians about our nation’s presidents and how they have shaped our country. The program is a series of free 45-60 minute interactive videoconferencing programs for students in grades 4-12. Each program is live-streamed and recorded for on-demand viewing at no cost.

The 2025 program series will engage students in learning how to use and analyze primary sources as they are guided on a journey through the historical legacies of our presidents.

“These programs were informative, engaging, and created a great sense of curiosity with students in my classroom,” a former PPSP teacher participant shared. “They really drew on students’ observation and analysis skills and made critical thinking a key aspect of the presentation, no answers were given – primary sources were just evaluated.”

The series will run from January through April 2025. Free registration is now open. Visit the project web page for more information and sign up today!
