2022 Happy Holidays from OneNet!

Dear Loyal OneNet Friend,

OneNet wants to wish all of our friends “Happy Holidays!” and thank you for your continued support of our mission to provide high-speed, affordable connectivity to Oklahoma’s research, education, health care and government institutions.

During 2022, we have focused on expanding our messaging that OneNet serves as Oklahoma’s research and education network. OneNet is part of a nationwide fabric of networks that focus on bolstering research and education through advanced networking services. We are proud to be a part of this community and fill this critical role for our state.

An initiative that is vital to this mission is expansion of the OneOklahoma Friction Free Network—a dedicated research network that provides high-speed data transfer and supercomputing resources to higher education faculty and students. OneNet received our third National Science Foundation grant to add campuses to the network. Once we implement these grants, 21 campuses will be connected to the OFFN network, with access to big data movement capabilities and opportunities for collaboration with scientists around the globe.

As 2022 comes to an end, we want to recognize the vital services that each of our subscribers provide to their communities. Whether it’s students, patients, researchers or community members, those you serve depend not only on your service, but also on the connectivity OneNet provides. We want to provide the highest level of subscriber support we can, and we always welcome your input on our operations.
